Our experience with Shades of Green Construction has been completely positive. Terry Biegger and Wes Knight walked us through the project (a "Carolina" room) step by step from the initial design and estimate to the actual work itself. They even offered to help us find a couple of local contractors to see if we could get a lower estimate. However, since our interest has been in getting high quality work, we chose to go with them. As the project has moved forward, we have received plans and explanations for each week's work every Monday morning. Happily, it now appears that the project will be completed well ahead of schedule, always a plus. I have no reservations about endorsing Shades of Green Construction. |

My home was built in the early 1940‘s. My kitchen had never been updated and I knew I wanted to renovate. The question was, who do I get to help me with this project? I was fortunate to be introduced to Terry Biegger and Wesley Knight who are Shades of Green Construction. Shades of Green focuses on the “green” aspects of construction and this was very appealing to me. During my project, it was discovered that a wonderful wood floor was under three layers of another type of flooring. Terry and Wes saved the wood floor and it is beautiful. By the nature of my place being older, there was little to no insulation. After walls were taken down, the ceiling removed, a back door removed and window made into french doors, great care was taken to insulate my place well to save energy. A low VOC paint was chosen to change the wall color. Terry and Wes were really easy and honest to work with. I went on a medical mission trip while my renovation was going on and felt safe leaving my home in their hands. Shades of Green, which is Terry and Wes have great skills and integrity. |
